La REGIDESO et la population de Cibitoke : ensemble à la recherche de l’or bleu

Les villes de Cibitoke et de Rugombo seront sous peu autonomes en eau potable: c’est l’espoir que nourrissent les habitants de ces localités et des environs au regard des efforts qui sont en train d’être fournis par la REGIDESO et la population lieu . Cette dernière participe en effet tous les jeudis aux travaux de pose de la conduite d’eau grand diamètre lors des travaux de développement communautaire organisés chaque jeudi et réunissant, en plus des habitants des secteurs que traverse cette conduite, les chefs de service, les commerçants , et une bonne partie des militaires du camp Cibitoke.

La REGIDESO fournit le matériel, dont les tuyaux et une technique principale de travail pour guider et faire le suivi et respecter les normes de pose de cette conduite. La REGIDESO apprécie profondément cette participation de la population, voiture l’entreprise a déjà épargné plus de 7 millions de nos francs, une somme qui sera affectée aux autres investissements en eau potable au bénéfice d’autres localités où cette denrée «eau potable» se fait encore rare. L’objectif de ces travaux est de renforcer les villes de Cibitoke, Rugombo et Ruhwa en eau potable, car la quantité aujourd’hui reçue est de loin en deçà de la demande. La source de captage de cette eau est située en Commune Mugina, sur la colline Nyabusage et la conduite, de 2, 25 KM, traverse les secteurs de Mwarangabo, Muyange et Butaramuka, en Commune Mugina, avant de présenter le réservoir.

Le Ministre de l’Intérieur, du Développement Communautaire et de la Sécurité Publique, par ailleurs natif de la province, a participé à ces travaux et a remercié la population pour les efforts qu’elle fournit. Innocent NKURUNZIZA, Directer/Eau-REGIDESO

Le Directeur de l’Eau à la REGIDESO, Innocent NKURUNZIZA, présent à ces travaux, s’est déclaré satisfait du niveau atteint des activités de fouille et de pose de la conduite, et a souhaité que d’autres provinces puissent rééditer ce bel exemple de Cibitoke. Cette province est donc pour ce responsable de la REGIDESO une province modèle car la participation massive de la population aux travaux constitue une main d’œuvre utile, qui remplace celle que la REGIDESO aurait pu payer. Ceci fera épargner à la REGIDESO des fonds qui seront, selon le Directeur de l’Eau, affectés à d’autres investissements en eau.

Enfin, le Directeur de l’Eau a félicité un prénommé Elias, qui a bien voulu écorner la clôture de sa jolie maison, pour réserver un espace dans sa propriété, où devra passer la conduite d’eau. Le Directeur d’Eau en a profité pour inviter les habitants de certaines localités qui ont pris la mauvaise habitude de construire sur les infrastructures de la REGIDESO pour qu’ils utilisent l’Elias, de la Commune Mugina.
