UNE ECONOMIE DE L’ARGENT ANCIENNEMENT DEDIE AU PAIEMENTS DES LOYERS

La REGIDESO va récupérer autour de 20 millions de francs par mois, un montant anciennement occupé dans les loyers pour l’utilisation de bureaux. C’est ce qu’a déclaré le Directeur Général de la REGIDESO, Siméon HABONIMANA au cours d’un entretien avec des journalistes. Cela rentre, at-il dit, dans l’objectif de travailler dans un milieu salubre et propre mais surtout de réduire les charges de l’Entreprise en évitant les frais de loyer. Ce responsable a indiqué que pour héberger certaines Directions comme celle de l’Eau, de l’Electricité et d’autres services de la Direction administrative et financière, l’Entreprise devait débourser mensuellement une somme allant jusqu’à 20 millions, soit plus de 2 milliards durant les 9 dernières années.

A titre comparatif, le coût de réhabilitation des locaux du nouveau siège – qui était pratiquement à l’abandon – est de 550 millions de francs, un montant facilement récupérable en 2 ans, souligne Siméon HABONIMANA, Directeur Général de la REGIDESO.

Par ailleurs, la REGIDESO s’apprête à construire un immeuble propre à elle pour héberger les Projets financés par les partenaires Techniques et Financiers et épargner ainsi 33 millions de FBU dépensés mensuellement depuis 2015.

Pour le directeur général de la REGIDESO, le nouveau siège renferme un autre avantage que le gros des services les plus sollicités se trouve désormais sur un même site. Il s’agit de la Direction Générale, la Direction Administrative et Financière et la Direction de l’Electricité, la Direction de l’Eau étant à quelques encablures du nouveau siège.

Il a terminé son propos en attestant que l’acquisition de ces nouveaux locaux propres à l’entreprise est un résultat d’une vaste mise en œuvre d’un plan d’affaires de la REGIDESO visant à améliorer ses performances. Cela passera par notamment par l’installation d’un système de gestion intégrée et la suppression progressive de l’usage du papier, l’installation des compteurs intelligents pour les grands consommateurs, la géolocalisation systématique de tous les clients pour faciliter le système de relève et la facturation des clients.
