Ce mercredi, le 10/03/2021, le Ministre de l’Hydraulique, de l’Energie et des Mines Ir.Ibrahim UWIZEYE accompagné de certains hauts cadres de son Ministère, s’est rendu à Gitega avec une double mission de visiter, d’une part, les installations de la Centrale Solaire d’une puissance de 7,5 MW érigée dans le village de Mirama, zone Mubuga en commune Gitega, et d’autre part, les installations du Poste d’Arrivée de la Ligne Rusumo Chutes situées sur la colline ZEGE.

Avant d’effectuer cette visite, le Ministre de l’Hydraulique, de l’Energie et des Mines s’est d’abord rendu au Cabinet du Gouverneur de la province de Gitega pour une visite de travail. Les échanges ont porté sur les projets en cours pertinents de son secteur en commençant par les projets prioritaires à entreprendre dans les meilleurs délais.

      Visite des installations de la Centrale Solaire à Mubuga

Après cet entretien, le Ministre de l’Hydraulique, de l’Énergie et des Mines a ensuite effectué une visite sur le terrain à Mubuga en vue de constater l’état d’avancement des projets en cours d’exécution, en l’occurrence la construction d’un parc solaire d’une puissance de 7,5 MW. Après la visite, il a été constaté que la mise en œuvre du projet photovoltaïque GWG-Mubuga se trouve à une étape satisfaisante, d’où un taux d’exécution de 95% car toutes les installations sont déjà terminées. Il a également mentionné le terme du projet, il est prévu d’alimenter en électricité la zone de Mubuga et de ses environs.

Après avoir visité les installations de la Centrale Solaire, le Ministre de l’Hydraulique, de l’Energie et des Mines, Ir. Ibrahim UWIZEYE s’est par la suite rendu à ZEGE pour s’enquérir de l’état d’avancement des travaux de construction du poste d’arrivée de la ligne Rusumo Falls. Durant cette visite, il a également vérifié que les travaux vont bon train d’une manière générale. Néanmoins, des efforts remarquables sont à mener dans le domaine du génie civil comparativement à celui de l’électromécanique qui connaît une avancée significative.
